Two photographs of specimens, with guide rule, the lower an intact kidney 5 inches (13cm) long, showing a swelling of one pole, the upper showing the bisected kidney containing an encapsulated cyst filled with pale membranous material. The patient is a male adolescent, 16 years old. The identity of the patient is known.
