Scope and content

A green 10 yen note issued by the Bank of Japan from 1930 until 1945. The front of the note feature the 8th century Buddhist Priest and Court Official Wake no Kiyomaro who helped establish the imperial capital in Kyoto. The back of note features the Goou Shrine in Kyoto with "10 Yen" printed below it and "10" printed in all four corners of the note.
