Transcript of interview with Les Wolchuk of Johannesburg. Born in Poland in 1912. Father was a mill owner. Parents died in the plague epidemic after the First World War. He was brought to South Africa in 1921 with his two sisters by businessman, Isaac Ochberg. Was adopted by a family in the Free State and then went to the Arcadia Jewish Children's Home in 1924.
