Transcript of interview with Sadie Saron (born Hersch) of Johanneburg. Born in Elsburg, Transvaal, in 1908. Parents immigrated from Lithuania in 1895. Father was an accountant and mother a teacher. Interviewee was a teacher and lecturer. Husband, Gus Saron, was General Secretary of the Jewish Board of Deputies from the 1930s to the 1970s and he contributed to the interview.
