Transcript of interview with Esther Mrost (born Blum) of Johannesburg. Born in Latvia in 1897. Parents born in Latvia. Father was a general dealer. Forced to move to Russia during World War I, and about 1920 managed to make way to Poland, then Germany, from where left for South Africa with husband. Lived in Machadadorp and Johannesburg. Interviewer: Milton Shain.
