Transcript of interview with Pearlie Isoale (born Beemer) of Johannesburg. Born in Bulawayo, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in 1904. Father was born in Lithuania and mother in Austria. Father immigrated to Rhodesia in 1880. He was an import/export wholesaler. After father's death, the family moved to Johannesburg. Interviewer: Thea Fleiser.
