Father immigrated to South Africa before the rest of the family and started the first Yiddish newspaper. Interviewee immigrated to South Africa in 1927. She was a Hebrew teacher and involved in the establishment of the Arcadia Jewish Children's Home. Interviewer: Thea Fleiser.
