Transcript of interview with Rachel (Renee) Goodwin of Cape Town. Born in London in 1900 and immigrated to South Africa in 1931. Parents were from Warsaw in Poland. Father was a machinist in the shoe trade. Mother was a midwife. Interviewee was a hotelier in Muizenberg, 1933-1940, and a shorthand typist, 1940-1960. Interviewer: Eva Horwitz.
