Transcript of interview with Alexander Fisher of Cape Town. Born in 1893 in Glasgow and immigrated to South Africa in 1920. Father, a tobacco merchant, was born in Russia. Family was involved in Yiddish theatre in the United Kingdom. Alexander Fisher was a director of companies in Cape Town from 1920 to 1974.
