Transcript of interview with Louis Itchak Fiddel of Cape Town. Born in 1906 in Cape Town. Parents immigrated to South Africa from Latvia in 1901 (father) and 1903 (mother). Father was a building contractor in Cape Town and interview recalls his youth in Cape Town. There are many references to District Six. Interviewer: Eva Horwitz.
