Transcript of interview with Efraim Zakleny of Cape Town. Born in Lithuania in 1900. Father was a shopkeeper. Most of family immigrated to South Africa, but he went to Israel for several years before coming to South Africa for a year in 1950 and then immigrating permanently in 1964. He was a Hebrew teacher. Lived in Port Elizabeth and Mossel Bay before settling permanently in Cape Town in 1977. Interviewer: Eva Horwitz.
