Transcript of interview with Rev Simon Wolson of Cape Town. Born in Lithuania in 1897. Father was a rabbi. Members of family gradually immigrated to South Africa. He immigrated with his mother in 1903. In 1906 he was sent to Palestine to study, from where he went to London in 1920, returning to South Africa in 1925. He lived in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Queenstown, settling permanently in Cape Town in 1978. He was a businessman and an Hebrew teacher. Interviewer: Eva Horwitz.
