Transcript of interview with Harry Singer of Cape Town. Born in Lithuania in 1906. Immigrated to South Africa in 1926. Father was a merchant and mother a shopkeeper and baker. Interviewee lived in Saldanha from 1926 to 1927, in Hammanskraal from 1927 to 1929 and settled permanently in Cape Town in 1929. He was a wholesaler. Interviewer: Eva Horwitz.
