Transcript of interview with Patricia Bernstein of Cape Town. Born in 1894 in London, England. Immigrated to South Africa in 1900. Father was from Lithuania. Lived in Uniondale, 1900-1920, Bloemfontein, 1920-1971 and Cape Town from 1971 onwards. Was President of the Jewish Women's Benevolent Society for 40 years, as well as being a member of other Jewish women's organisations. Interviewer: Eva Horwitz.
