Transcript of interview with Osher Ruttenberg of Cape Town. Born in Lithuania in 1903. Parents were shopkeepers. Immigrated to South Africa in 1921. Lived in Queenstown from 1921 to 1930, East London from 1930 to 1960, and settled permanently in Cape Town from 1960. Was a shop assistant and traveller before owning his own shops.
