Transcript of interview with Avrom Rubinstein of Cape Town. Born in Lithuania in 1908. Father was a shopkeeper and reverend. Father immigrated to South Africa in 1912 and gradually brought family out. Interviewee immigrated in 1928. Lived in Cape Town from 1928 to 1931, Moorreesburg from 1931 to 1939, and settled permanently in Cape Town from 1939. Was a watchmaker. Interviewer: Eva Horwitz.
