Transcript of interview with David Podolsky of Cape Town. Born in the Ukraine in 1892. Father was a factory manager and mother a shopkeeper. Immigrated to South Africa with wife and baby in 1922. Lived in Johannesburg from 1922 to 1953, and settled permanently in Cape Town in 1953. Was a technical film operator. Interviewer: Eva Horwitz.
