Transcript of interview with Morris Julius Myers of Cape Town. Born in Lithuania in 1900. First went to America with his mother in 1903 and they immigrated to South Africa in 1912 to join his father. Father was a general dealer. First lived in Senekal in the Free State, then in Johannesburg from 1919 to 1947, Uitenhage from 1947 to 1960, and Port Elizabeth from 1960 to 1983. Worked as salesman, bookkeeper and accountant. In Uitenhage had a motor business. Interviewer: Eva Horwitz.
