Transcript of interview with Hetty Levy of Cape Town. Born in Williston, Northern Cape, in 1903. Family immigrated to South Africa from Germany. Father was a hotelier and farmer. Interviewee lived in Williston from 1903 to 1924, Cape Town from 1924 to 1934, Port Elizabeth from 1934 to 1946 and settled permanently in Cape Town in 1946. She owned a dress shop.
