Transcript of interview with Bella Lasman of Cape Town. Born in Minsk, Russia, in 1902. Immigrated to South Africa with her family in 1907. Father was a second-hand dealer. Lived in Cape Town from 1907 to 1923, East London from 1923 to 1925, Transvaal from 1925 to 1940, Kimberley from 1940 to 1960 and setlled permanently in Cape Town from 1960.
