Transcript of interview with Morris Jankelow of Cape Town. Born in Russia in 1908 and immigrated to South Africa with family in 1914. Father was a tailor. Interviewee was involved in the retail business and, for some years, a partner in a factory. Lived in Krugersdorp until 1919, in Johannesburg from 1915 till 1972 and settled permanently in Cape Town in 1972. Was involved in various Jewish communal organisations. Husband of Paula Jankelow.
