Transcript of interview with Gladys Jankelow of Cape Town. Born in Vryheid in Kwazulu-Natal in 1906. Father was born in England and mother in Germany. They married in South Africa. Father was the secretary of the Wolmarans Street Shul in Johannesburg. Interviewee lived in Vryheid until 1910 and then Johannesburg from 1910 until 1970, settling permanently in Cape Town in 1972. Wife of Morris Jankelow. She was a member of various Jewish communal societies. Interviewer: Eva Horwitz.
