Transcript of interview with Moritz Jacobson of Cape Town. Born in a village on the border of Lithuania and Latvia in 1890. Father immigrated to South Africa in 1895 and the rest of the family in 1903. Father was a wheatbuyer before immigrating; in South Africa he was a smous, later owning a shop and the family lived in Philippolis in the Free State. Interviewer: L Robinson.
