Transcript of interview with Isaac Jacobson of Cape Town. Born in Port Elizabeth in 1893. Parents immigrated to South Africa from Kurland in Russia. Father was a shoemaker. Interviewee lived in Port Elizabeth until 1926, and also lived for periods in Grahamstown and Ceres before settling permanently in Cape Town in 1947. He worked as a produce salesman in Port Elizabeth, owned a hotel in Grahamstown, and was a shopkeeper in Ceres and Cape Town. Interviewer: Eva Horwitz.
