Transcript of interview with Lawrence Israel (born Crockanski) of Cape Town. Born in Poland in 1902 and immigrated to South Africa with family in 1904. Father was a shopkeeper. Interviewee was a bottlestore owner and a manager of a firm of shipping agents. Lived in Victoria West and Kimberley before settling permanently in Cape Town. Interviewer: L Robinson.
