Transcript of interview with Shalia Annie Horwitz of Cape Town. Born in Fordsburg in the former Transvaal in 1897. Parents immigrated to South Africa from Lithuania. Father was a shopkeeper. Interviewee lived in several places in South Africa, including Beaufort West, Taungs, Victoria West and Kimberley, before settling permanently in Cape Town in 1957. Interviewer: Eva Horwitz.
