Transcript of interview with Charles Brower of Cape Town. Born in Goldingen (Kuldiga), Latvia, in 1896. Immigrated to South Africa in 1910. Lived in Upington and Cape Town; was at different times owner of a butchery, a hotel owner in Muizenberg and later in Hout Bay, a factory owner and finally an estate agent before retiring.
