The collection contains thirteen black and white photographs of Jack’s family and Jewish life in Tavrig, Lithuania from the 1920s to the late 1930s. The photographs were handed over to the Centre in the late 1990s, while the original permanent exhibition was being developed. Many of the photos in the collection eventually formed part of the Jewish life video, which displays photographs from various town and cities in Europe before the outbreak of the Second World War.
