A striped pin awarded to Julian by the Israeli Department of Security for his service during the 1948 war of independence. The pin is 4 cm long and worn flat with vertical stripes of varying shapes in deep blue, light blue, red and white. It is attached to a white piece of cardboard with the Israeli Ministry of Defence’s insignia and the words ‘’OtHakomamiyot’’ – for service (???)
