The booklet commemorates one hundred years of 'German-Jewish' banking. J.L. Feuchtwanger was founded on 1 May 1857 in Munich by brothers Jacob Loew and Moritz (who left soon afterward). The bank was reestablished in the Mandate of Palestine in 1936.
