Scope and content
The collection consists of five different ration cards issued to the Mesman family of the Netherlands during the Second World War. It also contains the Dutch identity document of Helena Mesman nee Boissevain, who was descended from two prominent Dutch families, including the successful industrial family Boissevain, and the Pijnappels, who were Dutch royalty.
