This document dated 18 May 1945 provides a list of Jewish survivors in Rovno, submitted by the World Jewish Congress, New York, including name, date, place of birth and present address in Rovno. Stamped by the Relatives Information Service. Approximately 23 000 Jewish residents of the western Ukrainian town of Rovno had been murdered during the Nazi invasion of June 1941. The rest were placed in the Rovno ghetto, which was 'liquidated' on 13 July 1942 when the majority of the ghetto residents were murdered.
