This publication, Dokumentry Zbrodni I Meczenstwa, (Documents of Crimes and Martyrdom) was published by the Provincial Historical Jewish Commission in Crakow, Poland in 1945. It includes remembrances by Holocaust survivors. The Provincial Historical Jewish Commission was established in late 1944 in Lublin, which was liberated by the Soviets in July, 1944, on the initiative of the Central Committee of Polish Jews and the Union of Writers, Journalists and Jewish Artists in Poland.
