According to the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Centre's Central Database of Shoah Victims' Names, Mina Boettigheimer (nee Katzauer) was murdered during the Holocaust. She born in Obergimpern, Germany in 1878. Before World War II she resided in Speyer, Germany. She was deported with a transport from Baden-Pfalz-Saarland to the Gurs concentration camp in France on 22 October 1940. She was later murdered. This information is based on a list of murdered Jews from Germany, found in a memorial book entitled "Victims of the Persecution of Jews under the National Socialist Tyranny in Germany 1933 - 1945" prepared by the German Federal Archives.
