Pasted onto the carte de visite on which is printed below the photograph is “Theodor Penz.” Printed on back: Theodor Penz Photograph Atelier. Berlin W. Charlottenburg, Tauenzienstr. 13a. Written in pencil across back: D.F. Bleek. Oakleaf Album. Bleek’s appearance and hairstyle are very similar her image in Item #172 above suggesting that it was also taken in the late 1890’s.
