Scope and content

Photographs depict mainly Boer commandos in the field, battle sites such as Spioenkop, and civilian refugees. Many of the photographs are those of Barnett & Co. One album contains handwritten captions in French, and the other bears the inscription "Souvenir de C E Dupont Johannesburg le 17 Mars 1900".
