Mr. Bloom studied degrees of Bachelor of Commerce in 1959 and Bachelor of Law in 1962 from University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, Master of Law in 1964 from the Harvard Law School and was a Sloan Fellow at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University in 1969. In 2002, he was awarded the Degree of Doctor of Law (H.C.) by the University of the Witwatersrand.
