Album assembled by Phoebe Murray (wife of Wilfred Murray), during World War II. Relates mainly to the South African Women’s Auxiliary Service (SAWAS). Contains many autographs, such as those of visiting troops and men on leave. Presumably, these were entertained by SAWAS. Signatures include those of members of the University of Cape Town branch of SAWAS. Also, some photographs and memorabilia.
