The collection comprises unidentified photographs and portraits presumably mainly of the Wetton family dating from the mid- to late 19th century. A photograph of an embroidered genealogy gives the names of Edward Wetton, born 29 May 1817, and his wife Eliza Wetton, born 10 February 1824, and their children Mary, Edward George, William Thomas, Susan Rebekah and Charles Thomas.
