The collection comprises of travel documents for Leslie's paternal grandparents, Juluis and Fanny Stern, a ticket for the Italia in the name of Ilse Maier(his mother) as well as a letter from the South African Jewish Board of Deputies informing Ilse that her stepfather Emil Stern was murdered at Auschwitz during the Holocaust
