Scope and content

Seven scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings by and about Woolf Rybko in English and Hebrew, from the Zionist Record, African Jewish World and other publications, between 1928 and 1948. There is a series of articles on the history of various Southern African Jewish communities including Cape, Natal, Transvaal, Orange Free State, Zimbabwe and Zambia. The Cape country communities include Calitzdorp, Cradock, De Aar, East London, George, Graaff Reinet, Kenhardt, Kimberley, King Williamstown, Ladismith, Middelburg, Montagu, Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn, Paarl, Port Elizabeth, Prieska, Riversdale, Robertson, Somerset West, Strand, Upington, Woodstock, Worcester.
