Personal and family papers of Robert Harries, (1887 1914), the father of Katrine Harries. The personal papers include baptism certificate, school Testimonials, marriage and death certificates, 1893 -1935. The family papers consisted of copies of the birth and marriage certificates of Robert Harries' parents and grandparents. These copies were obtained in 1933 and 1934 and two of them are headed 'nur gültig zum Nachweis der arischen abstammung' (only valid as proof of Aryan descent). There are also newspaper articles (in German; one is dated 1937) mentioning a Harries
