The Moshe Y Herzl Collection includes one yellow armband worn by Dr. Herczl while he was a prisoner at a labour camp in Hungary as well as four Star of David badges which Jews were compelled to wear under Nazi occupation. The collection also contains an article about Dr. Herczl’s appointment as the director of The Cape Jewish Board of Education.
