Scope and content

The papers of John Wightman comprise speeches, letters and press cuttings about Rhodesian affairs, family photographs, a diary of a journey to Mashonaland from Kimberley, 1891 and a ts of a recording in the 1940s of an interview conducted by Cecil Wightman regarding early Rhodesia (original gramophone record in possession of the donor).
