Basil Holt, a representative of the United Christian Missionary Society, Disciples of Christ, wrote to UCT Libraries on 10 May 1954, offering them positives microforms of three notebooks containing the letters and journals of Captain Sidney Turner, which he had on loan from Turner's only surviving daughter.
