2. - Two documents concerning William Shaw’s promotions in the Indian Army
(i) - Signed by George Hewett at Fort William, Bengal, 1811
(ii) - Signed by Hugh Elliot (other signatures not clear) at Fort St George, India, 1815.
3. - Portrait. Originally identified as J C Davidson, but more likely to be Col. William Shaw (1790-1886). (o/s). Also, photograph of portrait.
