Scope and content
Travel journals kept by donor's sister, Mrs Margaret Johanna Moldenhauer (1871-1957), on journeys to North and South America (1927-1928), the Far East, New Zealand and Australia (1937), East Africa (1926), and some photographs and postcards.
Various items incl. a list, giving the names of 200 persons and firms, which subscribed to the so-called Indemnity Fund, with promises of money for the relief of those who suffered as a result of the Pledge during the Anti-Convict Agitation, 1849-1850 (see also BC225).
MSS and photographs of a trip to the Victoria Falls, (ca.1903), by the Misses A Buyskes (aunt of the donor) and M Marquard.
