Biographical history
Hendrik Adolph Mulder published several volumes on Afrikaans and modern Dutch literature. A volume of his own poetry "Con sordino ..." was issued by Constantia (publishers), Johannesburg, 1949. As a poet Mulder is known by his pseudonym Willem Hessels.
