Managed by SANParks, the Table Mountain National Park encompasses the Table Mountain Chain stretching from Signal Hill in the north to Cape Point in the south and the seas and coastline of the peninsula. Interviews are conducted with forest workers on Table Mountain and explore shifts in their working experiences over the last two decades of the 20th century. Themes include: apartheid; Cape Peninsula National Park; Cape Town City Council; life histories; perceptions of the mountain; political neutrality; racial segregation; working environments.
