Personal and family papers of Eva Harries (nee Salinger) (1886 1973), the mother of Katrine Harries. The personal papers include birth, vaccination and marriage certificates and papers required for immigration to South Africa. Also includes Mrs Harries' Cross of Honour for widows (1935). 1886 1951.
The family papers consist of a Salinger family tree, a 'Bürgerbrief' of 1848 bestowing the citizenship of Berlin on her grandfather(?), Gottlieb Salinger and a copy of a record of Gottlieb Salinger's marriage in the 'Gesamtarchiv/der deutschen Juden'.
